  Finishing an unfinished path

  Hello All,

  I have been drawing a bezier path and accidentally deselected it. I cannot seem to select the end point in order to continue drawing the path. It only wants to start a new one.

  I would have thought shift-clicking or some such would work but no such luck. Surely it must be something incredibly simple….

  You can’t add more points after the end point of an open shape once you’ve created it. But you can add more intermediate points – option-click or double-click anywhere on the line. So you can drag your last point out of the way, then add more points before it.

  Thanks for that Mark,

  Is there any point to that?

  I was just using the space bar hand tool (à la photoshop) and didn’t get the pen back when I had let go.

  Somewhat tedious but your workaround does work.

  You should definitely be able to pan the Canvas with the spacebar while drawing a shape and be able to keep adding points.
