Live Type fonts not showing up
Hi all
I am revisiting an old project that has a Live Type element in it.
When i open the motion file it informs me that the live font is missing, the dialog box has a search, reconnect and a cancel button, the search and reconnect buttons are greyed out and all i can do is hit the cancel button.
I definitely have the live fonts folder on my system i can see them listed via the finder, but i cannot see them in Motion 4, all options are greyed out. I know live fonts don’t work in Motion 5 which is why i am using Motion 4.
I am running the latest version of OSX 10.9.2 could this be why i can no longer use live fonts?
I guess the million dollar question would be is anyone running Motion 4 with the latest OSX and still able to use live fonts?

It’s ok i figured out the problem.
You can’t install the Live Type media discs on a new Mac because it no longer supports PowerPC, i have an old 2008 Mac tower laying about so i was able to install the Live Type fonts onto that and get the job done.
