  Installing CS6 render-only nodes on a farm.

  Hi, We’re having licensing issues with our render farm.

  We have some CS6 After Effects seats on Mac OSX. We also have a 16 blade render farm on Windows 7.

  We installed ‘render-only’ copies of AFX on the blades, which worked.
  Except now we’re being told that the trials have expired for the render-only software.

  We’ve tried adding the text file, as per this thread.

  But it doesn’t work.

  It just says the trial has expired.

  We tried re-installing the software. But this doesn’t work either.
  Assuming that the trial version (which we didn’t install) does something to the registry on the PC? Puts a file on there stopping you from re-installing?
  Not a PC user so no idea how to do this.

  Don’t know if it’s because our non-farm licenses are Mac?
  Anyone had any experience of this?
