Motion 5 : Set Anchor Point default?
Good morning,
Is it possible to set the anchor point to default always to dead center on any object?
I’m finding that, when I apply a behavior, the anchor point is distant from the object I’ve applied it to.

Except for text objects, the anchor point of a layer is already at the center by default.

Thanks Mark. I am working predominantly with text objects–is there a way to set a default for those? The only option I have figured out is in the inspector manually dragging the values until the anchor point seems to line up visually. I tried selecting the anchor point tool and dragging but that doesn’t seem to work either.

Why can’t you use the Anchor Point tool in the Canvas? Works for me – it even shows you exactly where to drag:
No way to set the default.

Yeah, see, I’m not getting what you show. For me, the positioning arrows are some distance from the text box. Hence my query. (Motion is on my work computer, else I’d share a sceen capture of what I’m seeing. I can do so on Monday.)
