Motion 5 : Set Anchor Point default?
Posted by Heather l. Truelove on April 26, 2013 at 4:52 pmGood morning,
Is it possible to set the anchor point to default always to dead center on any object?
I’m finding that, when I apply a behavior, the anchor point is distant from the object I’ve applied it to.
Thank you,
h.

April 27, 2013 at 12:47 pmThanks Mark. I am working predominantly with text objects–is there a way to set a default for those? The only option I have figured out is in the inspector manually dragging the values until the anchor point seems to line up visually. I tried selecting the anchor point tool and dragging but that doesn’t seem to work either.

April 27, 2013 at 2:43 pmWhy can’t you use the Anchor Point tool in the Canvas? Works for me – it even shows you exactly where to drag:

No way to set the default.

April 27, 2013 at 5:15 pmYeah, see, I’m not getting what you show. For me, the positioning arrows are some distance from the text box. Hence my query. (Motion is on my work computer, else I’d share a sceen capture of what I’m seeing. I can do so on Monday.)
