Sorting iPhoto album only on title ?

Question about sorting photo’s in an iPhoto album in Motion 5
When I start Motion 5 and click Library>Photos and then select an album, I get to see the images in that album in the sequence they are in in iPhoto (in my case this is date/descending). So far so good. Then, when I click the icon on the bottom of the window to select either thumbnail or list view, the photos are sorted in alphabetical order without me asking this. The only thing I can do then is sort them ascending or descending, but only on title (Name in Motion terms) There seems to be no way to get the date field displayed as a column, let alone you can sort on it.
Is there a way to either prevent Motion to sort these images or to re-sort them in date sequence ? The way it is now is pretty annoying, because to get the original sequence back I have to quit Motion and restart my project.
