  Can’t Publish Transitions in Motion 5

  I’m trying to publish a Motion 5 Transition to use in FCPX. When I go to “save” or “save as” the publish screen comes up. The problem is that the Publish button is grayed out. I understand that I need a category, however I am not able to select one or make a new one. If I try to make a new one, I hear the apple error tone and nothing happens. I’ve trashed preferences, updated motion, and rebooted and cannot get it to work. Am I missing something here?

  UPDATE: I went to the “movies” folder and allowed permissions to read and write. I can export now. Only problem is that in FCPX the transition shows as a red screen with an exclamation point. Anyone know whats going on? Thanks!
