  Scale Over Life – Light Streak

  Hi Guys,

  I’m using Motion 5.

  I have this light streak that I painted on and I turned on “Dynamics” under “Inspector->Shape->Advanced”. I want the particles to fade away at the end of its life. I tried going to “Behaviors->Particles->Scale Over Life” and I set “Scale At Birth = 100%” and “Scale at Death = 0%”. The particles still don’t fade away. Changing the Scale at Death number doesn’t seem to do anything at all.

  I’m been trying to figure this out since yesterday and it’s been really frustrating!

  Nevermind, I found that you can set the Life directly under Dynamics in Motion 5.

  Well yes, if you enable Dynamics – but that’s totally different than adjusting the timing of the stroke animation by adjusting the keyframes.

  It was a separate issue.
  I was a bit confused at first but it’s cleared up now.
