  • Trimming an object in Motion 5

I might have missed something here in 5 but in Motion 4, to trim the IN or OUT point of an object to the cursor position you would hit I or O
Although the manual for 5 says the same works, pressing I or O moves the PROJECT START point to that location not trimming the object.
Holding shift and pressing I take the cursor to the start point. Have they done away with the one key stroke Trim or is it hidden somewhere else, cause I cant find it
    Thanks Phil

I and O work the same in Motion 5. Try trashing your prefs.

I tried That Mark No result
Strangely enough in the drop down menu bar in motion 4 there is an I and O indicating keyboard short cut to Mark in and Mark out.

Yet in Motion 5 Its not there.
I have 5.0.2 is there a bug fix in a later version?

5.0.2 is the latest. Just trash the app and redownload from the App store.

mark Just downloaded Motion again and the same thing still exists.
Mark play range in is the ‘I” and mark play rang out is the “O”
The is no I & O on mark in and out as it in in Motion 4. What version of Motion are you using to have it work the same as 4?
    Thanks Phil

    Found the problem
Under Motion in the menu I selected commands and found it was set to Final cut Pro set changing it to standard set brought up the normal settings as it should be
    Thanks
