  beach ball between typing every letter…

  i recently upgraded to Snow Leopard, FCS3, and went to 6GB RAM (from 3), and when typing letters/titles into Motion 4, i get a spinning beach ball for a few seconds in between it putting the next letter on the screen. any way to speed this up other than a new processor?
