  FCP Green Screen -> Alpha channel wont show in Motion

  I know this has been posted many times but it seems like nothing works with me. Here is my situation:

  So I created a green screen and chroma key the green with DVmatte pro. I check in FCP if there was a alpha by putting a random jpeg behind the subject. It shows behind my subject.

  However, when I bring it into Motion it’s just a black background. I have export the sequence in a animation codec with million of colors + and quicktime. I played with alpha type and still nothing happens. Any help folks?

  When you send clips from Final Cut Pro to Motion, any added filters, transitions, or generators do not make the trip. Instead, apply dvmatte pro in Motion.
