  Motion renders only half frame when exporting H.264

  I am trying to render out an H.264 from my HDV 1080i project. When I play back the rendered quicktime, the bottom hald of the video is black, no video. Any ideas why?

  Most likely you are exceeded the capability of your GPU. Try first rendering out to ProRes, then render that movie to .h624.
