Export issues
Hi guys, just having a wierd problem with my export in motion. Once I created the animation and previewed with the RAM preview everything looks perfect. As soon as I start the export process it looks like Motion is missing some of my layers. It just exports the background and the titles I am using. I dont know if this is due to a lack of GPU (Im running on a 128mb Video card). But I was expecting that although it would take me more time to export, the exported video should look like the RAM preview.
any idea of what it is the problem?

That is so crazy, that just happened to me for the first time every last night. I closed out Motion and then re-opened it and re-exported it and everything was just fine.

Do you think it might have something to do with GPU versus Motion Blur?
I just turned the Motion Blur off and it worked fine. If I have it on it doesnt work.
What do you think?

That’s the craziest thing. My project did not have a motion blur. Did you try closing out motion and then re-opening it?

Yeah, a few times already. Cant really understand. To me the logical thing is that if the software can Preview it with RAM it should be able to export. I am not using a crazy codec or anything, just animation or PRORES422.
Will do a few more experiments and let you know. really didnt count with this one.

One thing I realised is that if you export the comp using the exact same settings as your project things work and the render is quick. The only problem is that I cannot turn Motion Blur on cause I have not worked with Motion Blur on in my proj.

Sorry, I thought you said you took the Motion Blur off and everything worked. Any way of posting the project file in this forum?

Sorry, it exported out just fine on my computer, keep in mind I’m missing the images and paper bkg. Not sure what is going on but this is not normal.

You may want to re-post this question so some fresh eyes can take a look and see if someone can figure this bug out. As for my setup:
Mac Pro, Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 8 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM – I hope that helps.
