  resetting the output settings for Apple Motion 3

  I have a problem. I use Apple Motion 3 for compositing and on one computer the output for the monitor setting has been set to the desktop and now when I go into Motion all I see is a black screen and the mouse arrow. I need to reset the output but I can’t because I cant see what I am doing on the screen. Very frustrating, please help.

  Usually just hitting ESCAPE, upper left corner, will restore normal monitor views.
