  Exporting lower field footage

  Hi. I work mainly with PAL projects and most PAL DV is set to a default of lower field. When I export from Motion, even though I have it set to PAL settings, the exports always come out as upper field – I test it by dragging the clip into Final Cut and checking the item properties – always says upper field.

  I usually choose the lossless alpha codec when I export from motion but again, this always winds up being upper field. So what export option should I be selecting for the footage to look great AND be lower field.
