  Motion templates imported to Final Cut play back white

  This is the first time I’ve tried to use Motion templates directly in FCP via Sequence > Add Master Template. The template is added and the controls appear in the controls panel, but the viewer only shows white. Drag to timeline and canvas shows only white. Trashing prefs made no difference.

  Anyone else run into this? I’m on FCP 6.0.1 and Motion 3.0.1

  Have you made sure you are not looking at the alpha?

  The three little buttons on the top of the canvas window – select the right hand side one then check the dropdown menu. Should be RGB not alpha.
