  Motion Anamorphic

  What’s the best way to create graphics in Motion that match DV 16X9 anamorphic footage in FCP? I don’t see any preference settings in Motion for this.

  You have to make your own.

  – Go to Preferences > Presets
  – Select the PAL DV project preset
  – Click Duplicate
  – Double click the copied preset, rename it and change the Pixel Aspect Ratio to PAL D1/DV Anamorphic
  – You will have to manually tag the motn file as “anamorphic” after import to FCP.
