Speed Change
Posted by Juan Obregon on January 26, 2006 at 5:33 pmHi to all
Can someone please tell me how do I chage the speed of an object? In after effects I just change the duration and it slows down the footage. How do I do it in Motion?
Thanks

January 26, 2006 at 7:28 pmIt’s a little counter-intuitive. OK, it’s a lot counter intuitive!
In the timeline, right click (option click if you have a 1 button mouse) on the object & select “Reveal Source Media”. this will open a new window out from under your canvas that shows all of the media files that are in the timeline. Select the one you want to change the speed of, then change the speed in the inspector.

January 26, 2006 at 8:24 pmI have been to the media tab in the inspector and it just wont work, tried different FPS it just wont work. Does it mean that I have to go back to AE?

February 1, 2006 at 8:06 pmThat tutorial is just what I needed. For some reaseon, changing the fps in the media tab is not working for me but I did try the scrub and it worked great.
Thanks
