  Newbie question on templates

  I’m trying to insert a video clip into a template. I’m dragging the clip into the area where it says ‘replace here’. Result 1) the clip “blocks out” the templates mask and seems to sit on top of everything. Result 2) Alternatively, if I move the clip around into different layers the level of ‘transparency’ seems high and the masking effect almost dissappears. What am I doing wrong?

  You need to make sure you are dragging to the correct object – usually it’s INSIDE the layer called “Replace Here”.
