Activity Forums Adobe Audition basic audio balancing question

Hey guys, I’m sure that this is really easy to do in audition but I am just having a bit of trouble figuring it out. When editing a longer project how do I do blending or balancing of levels from various clips in audition? The tutorials I have found all seem to be about just editing and adjusting singular clips. Is that what you have to do for each clip? Or is there a way to edit a whole channel of audio to make sure that it all is even? Thanks!

    effects – match volume
    select all files
    drag into match volume
    rms or peak amp
    use limiting
    click run
