  Exporting sections of audio from a multitrack session

  Hi there

  I’ve been using Audition for a few years now, but I’ve never had the need to do this.

  I recorded a festival. I have around 8-10 saved sessions. All 2-3 hours each and all with 40 tracks of audio in each session.

  I’ve listened through and done a basic mix of the songs I need. I now need to get those songs, in their individual track form, to other people for a couple of overdubs etc.

  So, basically – I need to be able to highlight a section of time in Multitrack view, and export that section of time to it’s own new file for each individual track.

  Is there a way of doing that, or am I going to have to go through every track, and unmute each track and create it’s own mixdown?

  Any ideas would be appreciated!

  I’m using Adobe Audition 3.
