  Internal mic recording error – how to warm up sound?

  Hi

  I’ve just recorded a short video, a piece to camera. To my horror, I’ve made the fundamental error of not checking which mic was being used and have recorded on the internal mic on a Sony Z1 instead of the shotgun I thought was being used. Don’t ask me how I did this – I have no idea. As a result, I am left with tinny sound with a bit of echo from the room the shoot was in. I need to make it sound more like it was recorded ‘properly’. I know this is impossible, but any tips on how to make it sound better, which effects to apply and such, would be much appreciated, as time is against me!

  Removing echo really is a difficult thing to achieve.
