  Average & Total RMS Power in Adobe Auditiion

  Hello all,

  when I measure the average rms of an audio signal in Matlab by below equations:

  P = sqrt(mean(sum(x.^2)));
  PdB = 20*log10(P);

  This value comes to be similar to Total RMS Power in adobe instead of average. can somebody please explain what is the way adobe measures the avearge RMS power.
