  • Particular Form – Curling a Layer Map’s Edge?

    Hi CC,

I’ve been all over the map lately trying to figure out which direction I should go, so please excuse me if this post is redundant.

I’ve got a shadowy ghost figure that I’m trying to create an shadowy ghostly aura that goes out from all sides. But I’m finding out that’s not possible with particular. At least, I can’t figure it out using a layer emitter. So I’ve resolved to just doing a form flow over the subject.

I’m trying to do something subtle that curls up as it flows in a general direction.

What control helps create that curl to the edge of the layer map? I seem to be able to twist and distort but nothing that really curls up.

Is there a technique or method that helps curl up the edge of the map displacement flowing in a general direction?

    Thanks for reading. 🙂
