  Audition has encountered a problem

  Got the above popup – Audition has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience.

  I have been using Audition CS2 without any issues. It opened all the time. Just before getting this error, I installed FLASH 9 – and I had to run a FLASH uninstal download from Adobe to get the Flash 9 to install properly.

  Although they may not be related – the install of Flash 9 is the only change I have made to the computer.

  Any suggestions. I reinstalled Audtion, and I uninstalled Audtion and reinstalled it – and I still get the “encountered problem and needs to close” error.

  By the way – even though I just posted a CS3 installation question – I have not installed CS3 at all.

  2.0 has issues and I refuse to use it … After talking at length with a tech that is working on the 3.0 I was assured that this and other issues were being addressed, only time will tell … I would unistall the flash player and see if your problem goes away …
