Alright, I’m currently in a huge pickle with Audition. I cannot get the video to display in the video box.

I have edited videos with Audition before and I figured out how to do it pretty easily. Now, my problem is that whenever I import a video it NEVER shows up in the small video window–it’s just a black screen. I’ve tried changing session to Video/Audio session but it still won’t appear. The only thing that plays is audio. Now I don’t know if Audition doesn’t like me anymore, or if this is some program bug that hasn’t been fixed but it’s getting me up to my knees in frustration. I spoke to a friend and he suggested a couple things that strangely didn’t work. Usually these programs are easy to use but after my first video project with Audition it’s given me nothing but grief. Please lend me a hand,

    Thanks

BTW, the videos I am trying to upload are: Windows Media Player format, are usually under 5 MB, and don’t require any other sorts of codecs.

Simple problem, Audition needs an AVI file not a windows media file …
