  Soundcard question..

  hey guys. this is isnt really an audition question, but you guys really know youre stuff.
  i decided to return the firepod. the drums really were a pain to configure..and the sound i finally got just wasnt very pleasing. we had a better sound just recording using our 12 track mixer and running it via stereo sound card into the computer. so we decided to stick with stereo recording, and just focus on getting the live original mix right.

  so heres my question:
  right now we are using an external creative labs usb sound card.

  i like the sound i am getting with this thing, i have no issues with it. but is there a better choice out there? if so, could you recommend one.
  and, is it really worth upgrading it?

  So here is the question I pose to you, “If you like the sound you are getting why change?” Personally I really like my Lala 24/96 in conjuction with my Allen & Heath 20:8:2 mixing board … The bottom line here is simple, if it works don’t fix it …… WILLIE
