  Jumbotron / LED Billboard effect

  Belief did a great “Jumbotron” treatment to the Zoom logo in their launch packaage:

  Does anyone have any great ideas for how to do this? Doing a halftone effect in Photoshop doesn’t do the trick. I’ve got a client whom I looking to wow and would love any suggestions anyone has.]

  I see it’s time to upgrade. I’ve been skating by on 6.0. I got the result I needed by using AlienSkin Splat in Photoshop and tweaking from there.

  I highly suggest you upgrade as 6.5 rizzocks the hizzouse. However I have a solution for you that needeth not ye upgrade. (And thou mightest have saved thyself much worry if thou hadst searched previous posts for “Jumbotron”)

  Take your footage and apply Effect-Stylize-Brush Stroke
  Set the parametres such:
  Stroke angle: 0
  Brush Size: 3
  Stroke Length: 1
  Stroke Density: 0.5
  Stroke Randomness: 0
  Paint Surface: Paint on Transparent
  Blend with Original: 0

  Then apply Effect-Perspective-Bevel Alpha

  Now toy with all your settings and y’all’ll never know what could happen.
