    Hello,

A company send us some subtitles .txt files.
We are planning to use this with adobe encore.
We also using some of the subtiles in After Effects(with a script pt_importsubtitles) where we need to integrate it in a specific lay out/animation.

As we understood, encore and the script can import those files
    when files look like this:

    3 00:00:45:01 00:00:49:22 Nous avons dû donner
tout ce que nous avions avec nous.

However the ones we got look like this:

    00:00:45:01 00:00:49:22
    Nous avons dû donner
tout ce que nous avions avec nous.

Some of the videos are 3 min long, but others almost an hour.

So we need to put a NR before every timecode(see example: 3), remove a tab between each timecode, remove an enter and add a space.

Its obvious we need a text editor.
What editor program could we use to achieve(accetly) this?
Has anyone had a similar problem. What exactly did you do?

I like TextWrangler, which is free and can handle all kinds of gnarly regular expressions for searching-and-replacing, which can sort out jobs like that in minutes.
