  Final Cut Pro 7 XML to After Effects CS6

  Hi,

  Does anyone know how to get FCP 7 XML into AE CS6?
  All the usual tricks (Automatic Duck, FCP2AE) seem to only work up to CS5.5…

  Any ideas?

  Hi Stephen,

  I’ve done it a few times, and it’s not that tricky. Just export the xml as you usually do on FCP, and then on AE6 go to: File-Import-Pro Import After Effects
  That command pops up a window to allow you to choose certain settings, but the default ones should be fine.
