Hi, sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I am using After Effects.

I have this particle stream where it’s pouring out like salt. I’m looking for two things to happen that I can’t seem to alter.

    1) I would like the particles to kind of curl up and whisk away like smoke and dust does with enough interference. I can use turbulence but it just seems to bend and twist the stream out of shape. I’m looking for random particles to curl up and disappear. Almost like an upside-down fountain.

    2) In the scene these particles must hit a floor and curl up at a certain x-point, much more severe than merely pealing off. In addition to 1) I need them to react to a surface and float upward like dry ice.

If anybody has run into this before and can help point me in the right direction I’d appreciate it.

    Thanks for reading 🙂
