    Is the rocket actually moving in AE space? If not, make the background large and move it down screen to increase the illusion of motion.

    You can change your C4D chase camera so it trails the rocket, even just a bit. Perhaps as the rocket accelerates, it could travel up the screen.

    You could also comp in some partially-transparent 2D clouds in the foreground AE, moving very quickly in the opposite direction of the rocket’s travel.

    You can add some cloud in foreground and instead of uniform white fog it will be better if you will use cloud shapes with different pattern going downwards.
    Next you can add a little bit of wiggle to the camera to show the shaky movement will enhance the speed effect.
