  • Missing 1080p25 playback setting from After Effects with BlackMagic Design Intensity Pro card

    Hi,

I have After Effects with a Intensity Pro card running on a MacPro 12-core.
The Blackmagic Preference Panel shows option for 1080p25 playback, and my Sony PVM-2541 detects the progressive input.
If I jump to FCP 7 the monitor detects a 1080p25 timeline as a 1080i50 input even if the BM prefs are in 1080p25. Blackmagic explains this with FCP 7 being an old application, not supporting 1080p25. Ok.
Premiere Pro CS6 supports this explanation – my monitor detects a 1080p25 timeline from Premiere Pro as 1080p25.

So…why is it that After Effects CS6 doesn’t have a 1080p25 output mode? Nearest is 1080p24 or 1080i50. Blackmagic says they support 1080p25, but these recently updated applications don’t? Is it related to the install or what?
Anyone with the same lack of 25p output?
