Effects of Vimeo’s Livestream acquisition?
Any quick guidance on this would be much appreciated. To this point my employer has used Livestream, which was acquired by Vimeo last year. My IT colleagues were asking if we should consider a change, and the potential impacts on us. I’ve used Livestream in the past, but it’s been a couple of years. So I’d be grateful for anyone knowledgeable about this. Will Vimeo change Livestream’s platform or make changes affecting its subscribers? Or has anyone used Vimeo for live streaming since this happened (deal accounted in September 2017)? We’re trying to figure out whether we should make a change. My own experience with Livestream was pretty good, but it’s been a long time like I said. And I’ve had only good experiences with Vimeo for video sharing.
