  Desiring the ram preview rather than main render

  Problem

  I have been editing a 30 sec video in a sequence set at 50 fps. I exported the video as a 50 fps prores video.
  I then opened the video in after effects and lay on a audio layer.

  When I did a RAM preview set at 25 fps the audio and video played back at half speed but the video remained at 30 seconds rather than going to 60 secs. So I assume every other frame was dropped. 
  The RAM preview is just what I want the end video to export as but whenever I export/render I can never get the RAM preview. 

  Have you any ideas how I can do this? When i export at 25 fps the audio and video does not go to half speed.

  Quickest way is to put the play head at the start of your composition and in the menu, go to Composition > Save RAM preview. It will process the RAM preview and then prompt you to save the uncompressed video file somewhere.

  Otherwise you can see if clicking on your clips selecting Time > Time Remap and setting it to 50% has the same effect.
