  Element 3D crashes After Effects

  Hey everyone,

  Recently got Element 3d for after effects.

  Every time I apply the effect it crashed AE. My GPU drivers are up to date and I cant think of anything else. I’ve had it work the odd time.

  System specs are :

  GTX 580 SLI
  Intel i5 2500k @4.2
  8GB ram

  Try this to fix your crashing element 3D:

  Open up a previous AE project, make a new comp, add a solid layer, then apply element 3d, and see if it still crashes. Mine has quit crashing when I do this.

  It seems to only crash on a BRAND NEW project.

  Nic, make sure that Multi Processing in the AE Preferences is turned OFF. This is a known bug that make AE crash when using Element .
