  • Error msg: Disk cache folder doesn’t exist

I got the following error message on AE startup:

Disk cache folder doesn’t exist, so disk caching will be disabled. Please check your settings in Memory and Cache Preferences. (58 & 0)

Never had it before. Didn’t lose a drive or anything like that. Any reason why I get this message suddently ? What can I do to prevent it ?

    Thanks in advance.

Most likely you changed some folder names or the name of your entire disk/ partition. Just set a new location in the preferences and everything should be back to normal.
