  • How to get a uniform distance when using motion paths

Please see animation below. You can hopefully see the issue. I’m trying to get all the circles to be equal distance apart throughout the animation.

Adding keyframes is problematic as I’ve pasted a circle motion path into the postion of the circles.

    Any ideas?

try setting the keyframes to roving keyframes (select the keyframes, right click on them and choose ‘rove across time’)

Brilliant, that pretty much solved it. So many things to remember with AE, but I am learning fast – with much thanks to the people on this forum!
