  AE CS4 randomly stops encoding process

  hi there

  i am trying to render a short sequence out of AE CS4. Bizarrely, every time i render (regardless of what format i select) the render process stops in the middle of the project. Different place every time. There is no error. I get the completion ‘ding’. But only a chunk of the sequence has been rendered.

  Really odd!

  Any suggestions?

  What kinds of footage are you using?

  Have you tried rendering to another drive?
