I was wondering if anyone is using, or has checked out, the Lenovo Thinkstations – they seem to have many of the same options as the HP big iron, but at a considerably lower cost. My CS6 Master Collection is on its’ way, and I’m starting to think ahead to the next acquisition in the hardware department. Thanks.

Hi Joseph, I just did a quick check and saw two different specs. It’s best that you post the specs for the D20 that you’re looking at.

    Thanks Roland –

It appears that there are a whole lot more choices than the two you mention, from single Xeon processors, to dual, at varying clock speeds, some with solid state hard drives, some not. I’ll poke around and see what looks inviting. My thought was that it could be had for less than the HPs, with much the same specs, but I’m not sure of that now. I’ll do some more homework.

Just in case you are not aware, HP is currently running a promotion offering 20% off their workstations (through July 31) with the coupon code WKS12.
