  Menu Buttons Won’t Work

  I am having the strangest problem. When I create a DVD from Encore, the Menu and (Last Menu) buttons do not work on my remote control. The other buttons work fine, such as Chapter, Fast Forward, cursors in menus, and Select.

  I’ve built about 20 DVDs before using similar source material and the buttons always work fine with this DVD player and remote. In fact, this Encore project was copied and modified from a past project.

  I have all my video sequences in one timeline and the main menu sends you to the start of the movie or to the Scenes menu. The Scenes menu allows you to jump to any chapter. Once you begin playing the movie using either method, you can’t go back to any menu, except by skipping to the end of the movie.

  When I play the ISO file on the computer, the buttons seem to work.

  My project settings are all pretty standard;

  Timeline:
  Override: Not Set
  Menu Remote: Return to Last Menu
  Operations: All Permitted

  What could I be doing wrong?
