  Making live footage look more illustrative

  Hello. I have live action footage of a flame. I want to use it in a cartoon but I need it to match the style of the short. I use Illustrator files and gradients. Does anyone know of filters/ color correction that I can use?

  Red Giant makes a very nice, although somewhat expensive plugin called Toon-It:

  I own it, and can vouch for the quality of the presets. It’s even possible to stack presets to come up with some very nice looking results, quickly. Of course it’s also completely customizable.
