    Hi,
I’m making the switch over from FCP/Studio Pro to a full Adobe workflow and so far everything has been going well. I’ve noticed this small problem and was wondering if it’s a known bug or if there’s something I’m missing. It seems to relate specifically to Encore.

In Photoshop, I create document ‘A’ using predefined setting:
    PAL D1/DV Widescreen 720 x 576
    PAR D1/DV PAL Widescreen 1.46

Using a screen ruler this measures out at 1050, which I understand the reasons for and is fine.

In Premier I create a sequence with settings:
    720 x 576 16:9
    D1/DV PAL Widescreen 16:9 1.46

Import document ‘A’ and drop into sequence. Everything is fine, still measures to 1050.

Dynamic Link this Premier sequence to Encore.
Video timeline looks fine – still measure out at 1050
At this point I want to import document A to use in the menus.

Create new menu – measures 1050 – ok.
Import document A and drop into new menu – it appears as 1024, not 1050.

If I instead choose to ‘edit menu in Photoshop’ from Encore, I can then paste in document A as a background, save and that will then display correctly in Encore.

Is this a bug? Why does not encore not correctly interpret document A?

Apologies if this has been brought up, I tried searching but mostly found discussions on par, which isn’t entirely the issue.

    Thanks.
