Highlight button issues
Hi everyone, I’ve created a movie menu in after effects and imported it as an .m2v into encore…now i’m trying to create a highlight button effect that only appears as the item is selected, I used the type tool, typed some letters, converted it into a button, edited it in photoshop, created a highlight layer within the folder for highlight and name it(=1)highlight, deleted the old text layer, pressed the “eye” icon in photohop, and saved it!
went back to encore and voila! now my problem is that the button layer shows up right from the biginning when the background video starts, and i only wanted it to show up when the video reaches i.e. 6 seconds….or only when chosen….
am i dilusional or could i be doing something wrong?
BTW its a regular dvd and not hd menu or BR
please help, thank you
