• Adobe Encore DVD

  encore links to external files

  Hi.

  Can anybody tell me if there is a way to make a DVD menu in encore that links to the video but also to a folder on the disk which contains PDF’s. so that you can click a link on the DVD menu and it will open a seperate folder.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  That’s not possible in Encore or any DVD authoring programs that I’m aware of.

  I’ve just always put a note on either the disc or an “extras menu” that said to open the disc in a computer to see the ROM files.

  User manual : go to the final chapters.

  If you export to Flash file SWF, you are allowed to include hypertext links. But there are some restrictions with Flash output.
