    Using the Blu-Ray, 1280×720 59.94 with H.264, I am unable to successfully burn a BD-R.

My workflow: I have a single timeline in Premiere Pro CS4 and exported to burn this single timeline in Encore CS4 via Dynamic Link. I have no menus or anything else in my Encore project other than the “Sequence 01” timeline.

The timeline seems to transcode and burn onto the BD-R that I have. However, neither my computer (which has a Blu-Ray player) nor my shelf-top Blu-Ray player can read the disc.

    Thoughts?

Does your computer have a software Blu-ray player such as Power DVD?

Does your shelf-top Blu-ray player require a firmware update to playback burned BD-R discs?

    Thanks for your reply.

I do have Power DVD, and as I attempt to play the “Completed” BD-R, it brings up a warning message of “Unsupported Movie Type” or something to that effect. It’s interesting because on the “startup” screen that is shown, it specifically references file types supported, and Blu-Ray and H.264 are both listed.

The shelf player is an LG BD370 and was purchased about three weeks ago. I can not find anything on the LG site about a firmware upgrade, but I could be looking in the wrong spot…
