August 26, 2009 at 3:19 amAre you having Encore transcode the main video, or did you already transcode it. What type of file did you import into encore and what settings were used to compress it? What about the audio? What format are you using and how many audio tracks do you have?

August 26, 2009 at 3:01 pmHmm, nothing jumps out as being abnormal except for the fact you are using PCM audio. Try using ac3 and see if that makes any difference. If that doesn’t work, I would try h264 encoding for the video. It will take much longer to encode, but look much better. You don’t have to change the authoring mode, just change the transcode settings for the asset.
