  Import Sorenson 3 IMA 4:1

  Hi there…thank you for reading this…

  Have imported into AE a video file with the codec:
  Sorenson Video 3, IMA 4:1

  It is playing fine, meaning the video, but the audio is not there.
  In the thumbnail and the timeline it shows that audio is there, but one cannot hear it, and it doesnt export with it.

  Have tried to convert the file to something else, but FCP and Compressor reject the file entirely.

  Do you all have any suggestions?

  What to do?

  Just tried to transcode it in an old program and it said that it was saved with QT 4’s feature:
  ‘do no allow to save’

  What great hope and ideas can we have here?

  Dear Dave,

  Thanks so much for answering…really appreciate. BTW, just moved from Iowa….was in Fairfield, not far from Cedar Rapids….the big airport town. Iowans seemed like the ‘salt of the earth’ types. Very kind people.

  Mr. LaRonde, who has answered many of my questions, definitely falls into that category….

  And now, the big question…how would one unlock it in OSX?
