  Professional Converter

  Hi there!

  I wonder if there is an good (very good or maybe amazing) avi to m2v converter.

  I´m doing some VHS to DVD conversion and as most of the tapes are 120 minutes long, it gets a bit ugly when encore squeezes them. Is there a better converter or I´m good as it is? I´m asking this because I noticed the shorter tapes get to look better.

  And no I do not want to use a DVD recorder hardware. The tapes are pretty old and the images have to undergo some major surgery before geting to the DVD. Besides they need good menus and all.

  CCE SP2 is currently the best software encoder available.
