  Image highlighting

  hi

  first let me give you a preview of the menu i’m working on:

  what i want is to use an image to highlight the button you’re on right now. i have made a simple image of a cloud, you can find it here:

  the background of the cloud is transparent

  i’ve tried placing it on PS, naming the layer with the prefix (=1) and adding it to the (+) maps where my buttons are, but it doesn’t work when importing in encore

  how do i do this?

  Do this in Photoshop for best results: split it into two layers, the outline, and the cloud. Put both layers in a button layer set, and name them (=1) and (=2), respectively.

  Import your menu into Encore and then turn on button highlighting in the Menu editor.

  That should give you something close to what you’re looking for.
