my ieee 1394 host controller stops working when i install encore
hi guys
i have just invested in a new pc and im running xp64 …. when i install my encore 2.0 my dvd drive and ieee 1394 host controller go wrong , my dvd drive cant be detected but with a tweats following this tutorial it all works fine )
i cant seam to figer out how to get my IEEE 1394 to work properly before installing encore it worked perfectly. but after installing encore i get a warning sign in my device manger ….. ive tryed uninstalling the device and then ”scan for hardware changes” so it detects it again but it keeps saying a problem has occurred when installing this device
any help would be great

Encore DVD 2.0 only supports the Windows XP (32 bit) operating system.
That said, do a search of these forums and you may find someone who was been able to work around the problem.
